Privacy policy
Last updated November 3, 2026
This policy explains what personal data SceneGhost collects, why we collect it, who receives it, how long we keep it and what your rights are.
Who is responsible for your data
SceneGhost is the controller of your personal data. For anything about your privacy, write to aelsayed777888@gmail.com.
What we collect and why
- Account details: your email address and, if you use Google sign-in, your name, profile picture and Google account ID. We use them to create and secure your account, because we need them to provide the service.
- What you give us to make a video: topics, scripts, notes, voice recordings and other files. We use them to make your videos, because that is the service you asked for.
- Your videos and their records: finished videos, drafts, run logs and costs. We use them to deliver your videos and support you.
- Order details: your plan, payment status and country, which we receive from Paddle. We never see your full card number. We use them to run your subscription and meet our legal duties.
- Messages: what you send us when you ask for help. We use it to answer you, which is our legitimate interest.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, pages requested and error logs. We use it to keep SceneGhost secure and working, which is our legitimate interest.
Google sign-in
If you choose Continue with Google, we ask Google for your email address, name and profile picture. We use them only to sign you in and run your account. We do not sell them, use them for advertising or use them to train AI models, and we do not pass them to the AI tools that make your videos.
Who receives your data
We share data only with the providers that help us run SceneGhost, and only what they need:
- Google Cloud: hosting, database, file storage, and the AI models that make voices and pictures
- Vercel: hosting for this website
- Anthropic: the AI that writes scripts and edits videos
- Deepgram: turning speech into text
- Resend: sign-in and account emails
- Paddle: our Merchant of Record, which handles payment, tax and billing support under its own privacy policy
- Search and media providers: Brave Search, SerpApi, Pexafy, Pixabay, Unsplash, Klipy and Epidemic Sound receive search terms based on your topic, not your account details
- Advisers and authorities: where the law requires it or we need to protect our rights
We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising. Your topics and scripts go to these providers to make the video, so please leave sensitive personal details out of them.
International transfers
Some of these providers are based outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
What we learn from runs
We may use what we learn from making videos, such as which pacing or pictures work best, to improve SceneGhost. We keep those lessons in a general form that does not identify you.
How long we keep data
- Account details: until you close your account
- Videos, scripts and recordings: until you ask us to delete them or close your account
- Technical logs: usually up to 30 days
- Messages: as long as we need them to help you
- Order records: as long as tax and accounting law requires
Cookies
We use two cookies to keep you signed in, for up to 30 days, and one short-lived cookie during Google sign-in, for 10 minutes. Your browser may also briefly store a draft of your order while you sign in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Videos from YouTube and TikTok load only after you press play. Those services then apply their own policies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and to restrict or object to how we use it. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it. To use these rights, or to close your account and delete your videos, write to aelsayed777888@gmail.com from your account's email address. We reply within one month. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
Everything travels over HTTPS. Sign-in tokens are kept in secure cookies that page scripts cannot read, and your files are in private storage, reached through short-lived signed links.
Children
SceneGhost is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or on the site before it applies.
